Lovely course, not matched by my game, challenging but great condition and lovely layout.

A prestigious links course and one of the 100 best in England. The course is unobstructed, spacious and pleasant. We played Dunes and Himalayas, both after heavy rain, but the grounds were not too badly damaged (although there were puddles in places). They were well maintained and the greens were fast.
It was very challenging, but I would like to stay and play in the summer next time
At the end, you enter a toll road, but you can go straight through on the way there. If you see a staff on the way back, just declare that you played golf at Prince's and you can pass through for free.

Stunning place to play golf. Course was in very good condition for the final day of October.
As it’s links it drains incredibly well.
Played on consecutive days, the first had benign conditions and glorious sun, the second was true links golf with very strong winds. Some very challenging holes but well worth a visit.
We did 2×18 holes, breakfast dinner and one night accommodation for just over £200. Brilliant value

Played all three nines over two days last week. Lovely and sunny but challenging winds .... was sooo much fun. Stayed in the wonderful lodges for two nights and played Royal Cinq Ports on the day we left. Have played all over the world and this is about as good as it gets !!

Lovely links course, very testing especially in the breeze. 3 loops of 9 holes, Hymalayas, Shore and Dunes. Difficult to pick the best two. Helpful staff in the clubhouse.

We played the Dunes first and it is a very tough course and very similar to Royal St Georges next door. The first , into the wind, was one of the most daunting tee shots i have played. The fairways are narrow and if you miss them you are doomed as thick rough/long grass awaits. The par 3s are long but are scorable. Will test your golfing abilities, and people that cant hit 200 yards off the tee will struggle. Then we played the Himalayas course which is a recently revamped course which is alot more fun to play as you have a lot more room to bail out on compared with the shore/dunes. However you still have to hit the ball long. Favourite holes was probably the 1st or the 8th, but with the wind bellowing in from the eas can make certain holes practically impossible to score well on. Worth playing if you are in the area as it is still a beautiful course with a great club house.

Lovely course but not true links! Lush fairways makes it play more like parkland but cleverly sculpted between dunes to make an interesting challenge and more forgiving for Club golfers as a consequence!

Beautiful course. We played on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon. We played the shores first, which follows the coast. It has some challenging holes, the whole course looks fairly open but if you aren't on line and hitting fairways then you're going to spend a lot of time looking for lost balls. The rough is pretty tough to get out of if you do manage to find a stray ball. The Dunes and Himalayas are both the same, very punishing but enjoyable. It's a stunning course and very well looked after. I'd advise getting a course guide from the Clubhouse before you play, they're complimentary. We played both rounds in about 4 and a half hours without being held up and without holding anyone up. All in all very enjoyable.

What a wonderful example of a fine English links course! This is my second time here, both times I've stayed in the lodge and both times have been a lovely experience. The course speaks for itself with rolling greens and unforgiving rough. There was work being done on one of the 9 hole loops, I forget the name, the Himalayas? The staff were welcoming and kind, I left my phone charger and they kindly sent it to me via post, just a £3 postal fee if I recall correctly. Good links golf at a good price point. Clubhouse and staff make it even better. There are other more "stuffier" golf clubs nearby, ie St George's and Royal Cinque Ports, if you're into that kind of stuff haha. Definitely worth a visit, I'll try and go once a year at least 👍
